BULL MAGNET® 2025

Lighter & Stronger with Better Acoustics

What is the Bull Magnet®?

Made in the USA, the Bull Magnet® is a durable, synthetic megaphone that serves five important functions useful for calling moose. It can also be effective on other prey species and a variety of predators.

Five jobs, one moose call horn

  1. Call – The Bull Magnet® amplifies and adds a nasal quality to man-made cow calls and bull grunts. It can also be used to amplify and improve the sound of reed calls.
  2. Thrash – Raking brush and striking dead tree trunks (especially spruce) with the Bull Magnet®, will deliver a sound that closely mimics the sounds made by bulls when they scrape their velvet off and when they fight.
  3. Listen – Listening through the Bull Magnet® will significantly increase your ability to hear responding and approaching bulls. Just put the small end to your ear and point the large end in the direction you wish to hear better from.
  4. Flash – Because they are similar in color to natural antlers, flashing (waving) the Bull Magnet® can be an effective visual aid to help draw closer or approach an interested bull.
  5. Scoop and drain water – When hunting near lakes, rivers and ponds and while waiting for bulls to approach, occasionally scoop and drain water from your Bull Magnet®. It will sound like a cow urinating and will further encourage any approaching bulls to investigate your position.

Bull Magnets® are extremely tough and are only meant to be used as described above; common-sense use is always encouraged.

Safety when calling moose

WARNING: Rutting bull moose can be dangerous! Stay alert and always use extreme caution when calling moose, because interested bears and other predators often respond too. We strongly advise that you also wear some outer clothing that is bright red or hunter orange for added safety.

Bull moose called in near Dillingham, Alaska
Well Wayne – the new style bull magnet did sound more crisp. Worked great with a mix of cow calls followed by small bull grunts. Called out a younger bull which in turn made the bigger bull in this picture follow. Here is a picture with the new bull magnet.

Maine hunter with a bull moose taken using a Bull Magnet moose call
Good Evening Wayne…Our moose hunt went very well … My brother has your previous model and that’s what made me look into your call. I prefer this new model with the slimmer mouth piece. I feel that I can carry it much easier but enjoy using both! Traditionally in Maine, many will carry a call and use a moose scapula to rake the brush and imitate an antler when closing the distance on a bull. I love that I have the ability to do all with one piece of equipment thanks to your product!

Hunter behind a bull moose called in with a Bull Magnet near Salcha, Alaska
Wayne – Don’t mean to bug ya. Just wanted to say thank you for getting the call shipped out quick to Salcha, AK… I called in a young bull on day 5 and with 30 minutes left on the last day, this guy couldn’t resist the cow calls coming out of the Bull Magnet!
